This weekend, I attended the first SUNY Social Justice Conference that was held on Binghamton University’s campus. It was staged so that students, organizers, and activists could all join together in order to build a united movement over many different and diverse communities in solidarity for social betterment. The conference had many different workshops and activities that built upon the history and study of struggles for social change and justice. The highlight of the night was a keynote address speech by famous historian, Dr. Howard Zinn. I will post video tomorrow once I have a chance to upload it.
